We collect ZERO personal information.

• ✅ No names or personal details
• ✅ No location tracking
• ✅ No analytics or tracking

Data Storage

All your data is stored locally on your device only:

• Meal logs (stored in local SQLite database)
• Daily macro goals (stored in device preferences)
• Food search history (stored locally)
• Region preference (stored locally)

We cannot access this data. It never leaves your device.

Third-Party Services

BareMacros uses these external APIs to provide food data:

USDA FoodData Central API

• Purpose: Search for food nutritional information
• Data sent: Only your search query (e.g., "chicken breast")
• Privacy policy: USDA Privacy Policy

Open Food Facts API

• Purpose: Scan product barcodes for nutritional data
• Data sent: Only the barcode number
• Privacy policy: Open Food Facts Privacy

Permissions

The app requests these permissions:

• Camera: Only used for barcode scanning. No photos are stored or transmitted.
• Internet: Only used to fetch food data from USDA and Open Food Facts APIs.

Children's Privacy

BareMacros does not collect any data from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.

Data Deletion

To delete all your data:

1. Uninstall the app from your device
2. All local data will be automatically deleted

Since we don't collect data on our servers, there's nothing else to delete.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
